After a 15 year career in advancement, I decided to pivot into a complimentary role in supporting institutions of higher education through management and research of federal and foundation grant opportunities. I have the pleasure of working with colleges and universities to compete for funding across federal agencies that have a direct impact on student scholarships, academic programs, and student support programs.I enjoy both the creative and the analytical. I consider myself a lifelong learner and will continue to absorb as much as I can about how making the case of how the support of higher education benefits and elevates a civil society. I am fascinated by both the front and back ends of client-facing operations. I enjoy solving problems alongside my colleagues and building viable solutions to address complex issues. As my own military experience continues to navigate further and further toward the bottom of my resume, it remains an important component of my personal and professional story: one of which I am incredibly proud and will continue to make note. As a civilian, I have been fortunate to remain connected to those who serve which has been both a humbling and exhilarating experience.
