About Ken Schaefer

Reporting to the Head of Identity and Access (IAM), I deliver and drive IAM (internal/workforce) strategy at Westpac. Previously Principal IAM Architect leading Internal/Workforce IAM security architecture within Westpac group, delivering strategy, architecture and program delivery within the domain.Previously I have worked in both security and infrastructure architecture in large scale enterprise (50,000+ seat) environments in both managed services (HP Enterprise Services) and consulting (Avanade/Accenture), in multiple countries. I've presented at numerous Microsoft Tech.Ed events across the US, Australia and Asia. I have authored/co-authored a number of books including lead author Professional IIS 8, Professional IIS 7 (Wrox/Wiley) and co-author of Securing IIS 6.0 (Syngress Press).
