Database Developer
Current- Designs, documents, develops, and tests complex T-SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures, and user defined functions.- Performs advanced trouble-shooting, debugging, and testing of existing code; writes and implements code to correct issues.- Performs performance tuning analysis and enhancements on existing and developed code. Perform ETL operations both to and from managed database systems to support third-party systems.- Gathers and defines requirements to deprecate, update, or create database systems; researches system and architectural needs; performs domain fact-finding duties; turns business requirements into technical designs and solutions.- Ensures the integrity, performance, security, and availability of database and software systems. Defines and implements procedures and processes for regular server and database maintenance. Identifies, corrects, and develops preventative processes to address poor data integrity and performance.- Extensive experience with relational databases, normalization, T-SQL, ETL, and common software development practices. Strong understanding data modeling and database architecture.
