With over 23 years of experience in academia and IT operations, I am a Research Scholar & Assistant Professor at SRM University.With in just a few months here, I have been assigned the following responsibilities -# Second Year Coordinator # Website Coordinator# NAAC related documents preparation# ERP Coordinator# LMS Coordinator# Class Mentor# Discipline Coordinator# Faculty Sponsor ACM STUDENT CHAPTER @ SRMIST NCR CAMPUS# University Exam Coordinator Earlier in my previous engagement I was a Faculty Sponsor ACM Chapter at Bharat Institute of Technology (BIT), where I led cybersecurity research initiatives and nurtured academic-industry alliances as a SPOC for IBM, MICROSOFT, RedHat, DELL EMC, Palo Alto, Eduskills and Oracle.My research focuses on artificial neural networks for driver behavior recognition for automated driving or autonomous vehicles, and I have filed a patent on this topic. I also hold a MEng in Computer Science from Panjab University and multiple certifications from IBM, EMC, and VMware.As a Faculty Sponsor, I mentored students in the ACM Student Chapter, which also collaborated with Cyber Peace Foundation to conduct workshops, webinars, and hackathons on internet security. I also teach subjects such as C, Python, Operating Systems, Computer Network, Network Security and Cloud Computing to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and served as a member of the board of studies at the state technical university.As an Enterprise Resources Planning Administrator, I managed the ERP system for the BIT group of institutions, which has over 500 employees and more than 2500 students. I was awarded 'THE BEST ERP ADMINISTRATOR' by RICOH.I also maintained an installation base of Linux on over 1000 computer systems, and oversaw the web, mail, proxy, and firewall servers. I am passionate about developing the next generation of IT professionals and innovators, and have been invited for talks on internet security by the Indian Army. I have also received awards from EMC and BIT for my excellence in technology and education.I was heading the core committee for NBA Accreditation at BIT Meerut and was instrumental in getting it twice for the CSE Department.
