I owned a set of transportation products that reduced more than $42MM cost from supply chain and improved shipping experience for Shippers using Amazon’s transportation services. The scope of products encompassed every Amazon managed inbound shipment across our North American fulfillment network (in billions of units), and the technology solutions delivered impacted the shippers from the time they wanted to ship freight to the time it was received into our buildings.

Key responsibilities:- Analyze Amazon supply chain for high food safety risk drivers, mitigate those risks through process improvement and/or automation.- Develop business requirements for technological products that mitigate Food safety risks for customers and work with tech teams to test and roll out those tools for Amazon Fresh network. Results achieved:- Collaborated with Retail, Technology, Operations and Vendors to automate vendor approval and compliance tracking process, shortening approval time by 7 days and providing compliance visibility for all vendors selling through Amazon Fresh and Prime Now.- Lead efforts to develop a tool that automates segregation of allergens during food preparation inside Amazon Fresh facilities, enabling business to expand selection and error-proof allergen contamination risk for customers.- Analyzed food safety risk drivers for Amazon Fresh chill chain, including end to end process mapping from Fulfillment Centers to customers. Conducted gap analysis and identified solutions to improve chill chain compliance fro by 640 bps, while saving business $825K in cost

Analyzed 300+ warehouse stock items for a chemical adhesives manufacturer client, reducing and rationalizing both Made to Stock and Made to Order inventory - leading to savings of $26000 per annum without compromising on customer service metrics.

Auburn Hills, Michigan

- Analyzed entire North American commercial segment glass value chain (from float plant to the buildings) to identify value creation opportunities for the end customer and eliminate existing wastes.- Developed a dynamic business model that included market sizing and segmentation analysis, total cost of ownership, downside risks, and financial metrics for both the current state and the proposed business cases. Analyzed customer's key value drivers and leveraged the business model analysis to recommend a strategy that lowered total cost of end product by 18% relative to industry leader by centralizing activities and leveraging patented process technologies. - Conducted capability gap analysis and collaborated with internal stake-hoders to analyze risk and rewards for execution strategies including organic growth, merger and acquisition and contract manufacturing. Recommended a contract manufacturing strategy along with next steps for execution that is expected to provide Guardian with an incremental NPV of $349M with capital cost of $34M.

- Troubleshooting and risk mitigation for operational problems related to equipments/systems/suppliers during construction and ramp-up of 2x660 MW power facility in Vietnam to ensure record time delivery of project, while exceeding customer expectations in quality and performance. - Project monitoring and project management at both design office and construction site to ensure achievement of key operational metrics - cost, quality, design and schedule, for more than 15 heavy machines from different international and local suppliers alike.- Collaboration with an international team of engineers, suppliers, local workers & construction management to solve multiple Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) generated by the client and local environment regulatory bodies, enabling on-time execution of project milestones.
