Excellent interpersonal skills and able to effectively collaborate with customers on research projects.RESEARCH EXPERTISE• Successfully designed and developed new and improved RF circuit designs for broadband, transmission line and lumped element RF probes used for solid-state biomolecular analysis using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.• Designed and built Micro Imaging coils and gradients for use in MRI systems.• Designed and built a prototype wireless passive Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensing system consisting of a 434 MHz RF burst transceiver and SAW sensors.• Modeled SAW devices using cascaded transmission matrix approach, Mason’s equivalent circuit and finite element method and simulated their frequency response using MATLAB and OrCAD PSpice.TECHNICAL SKILLS• RF and mixed signal design simulation using Qucs, Orcad PSpice, Agilent ADS.• Technical computing packages including MATLAB, Simulink, Octave, MathCAD, Maple and LabVIEW.• Testing and debugging electrical circuits using Spectrum/Network/Impedance Analyzers, Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators. • PCB layout software to create complex multi-layered PCB layouts.• Finite element modeling using ANSYS and CoventorWare.• Programming languages including C, C++ and Visual Basic, Microsoft Certified Professional in Windows NT Server 4.0 and SQL Server 6.5.
