• Manage the repairs of above ground storage tanks per API 653.• Manage the construction of new above ground storage tanks per API 650.• Responsible for the temporary repair paper work on all temporary repairs in the refinery.• Responsible for submitting budgets for all projects and tracking all spending during the duration of the project. • Oversee all contractors for my projects on a daily basis• Managed various projects in the process units of the refinery which include but are not limited to the following: - Installation of a Kobelco Dry Screw Compressor - Replacing the top section of an ARN vessel - Replacing the top section of an asphalt oxidizer - Installing segregation walls for the LPG Tanks - Replacing various small vessels and exchangers - Various small piping projects

• Designed and managed the installation of a pig launcher and receiver for CITGO’s DOT 12” line at the East Chicago Terminal. I over seen the running of the gauging, cleaning, and smart pigs.• Supervised all ILI digs for immediate, 60 day, 180 day, and “other” repairs. I coordinated the work for the different aspects of the job, excavation, dewatering, welding, NDT, and coordinating with the railroad.• Completed paper for all work done on DOT pipelines. CITGO CPL forms, contractor OQ qualifications, non-destructive testing documents, and all welding qualifications.• Managed all terminal projects and oversee contractor work on a daily basis, which includes writing scopes of work for most projects.• Responsible for IDEM notifications for IFR inspection and returning the tank to service.• Responsible for keeping all current records on the 53 aboveground storage tanks in the facility.• Did all the external API 653 inspection on the tanks.• Coordinated all internal API 653 inspection which includes coordinating taking the tank out of service. I go over the contractor inspection report and make my own comments. I write up the scope of work for the repairs and supervise the repairs to make sure they are done correctly and per API 650 & 653.• Managed the removal of seven aboveground storage tanks from service to be able to remove the “rob” rings in 2007. This includes the coordination of blinding the tank, cleaning, gas freeing, actual removal of the rings, and any other repairs which have included IFR and shell repairs.• Managed the invoices for all work.

I began my training with CITGO in the corporate office with CITGO’s senior engineers working on small projects for the terminal and pipeline group.• Designed red dye and lubricity systems for some of CITGO’s terminals. It included writing the scope of work, getting estimates, getting all work approve through company policies, ordering all necessary items, and meeting all time lines. • Inspected the FBE coating of pipe to insure the quality.• Worked on various small projects with the senior engineers
