The Nepal Initiative was established by four friends with a shared passion for helping Nepal, particularly in relation to education and children’s welfare. We act as an umbrella organisation providing funding to projects and causes that we believe will have a meaningful positive impact on those in need in Nepal, including: * Sponsoring the education of underprivileged and vulnerable children* Supporting the construction of new schools and libraries in remote villages* Coordinating medical missions to provide basic healthcare services in remote areas* Providing emergency support to rural communities as neededAll of our initiatives is aligned with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, which we believe are an important framework for addressing the development needs of Nepal.

Youth Initiative (YI) is a youth organization working for the capacity development of youths in Nepal. Established in 1999, YI was formally registered with the District Administration Office, Kathmandu in April 2001. It is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) of Nepal. Today, YI is one of the leading youth organizations working in the field of youth empowerment, strengthening of student and youth politics, promotion of civic engagement, democratization, and human rights in Nepal. Youth initiative is an initiative by and for young people to develop to their fullest potential and bring about positive change in the societies they live in.
