My work involves coordination with regional partners and other city agencies, in addition to community outreach and the analysis of data within the agency. I'm working on Multimodal Plans and Regional Planning efforts as part of the Policy & Long Range Planning group in the Streets Division.

- Helped revise citywide parking regulations to modernize and align with best practices - Developed updated Mobile Food Vending program with stakeholder and community input - Mapped future Priority Conservation and Development Areas within city for ABAG in GIS

- Compiled data for GreenTRIP program in the Bay Area to better estimate parking demand and transportation options for multi-family residences- Conducted in-person meetings with managers to explain program and answer questions, in addition to direct phone calls and emails for outreach and follow-up - Performed site visits to verify compliance with program and record data in several Bay Area counties.- GreenTRIP Parking Database now online: http://database.greentrip.org

- Monitored performance of CA regions aspiring to SB 375 sustainability commitments- Tabulated regional data and healthy community indicators- Developed progress report and data sheets

- Composed a report on leading water conservation and efficiency techniques in the Bay Area to help foster a culture of conservation in the midst of the drought

- Spearheaded sustainability initiatives to promote waste diversion, encourage water conservation, and further energy efficiency- Led internal energy consumption overhaul with staff, including the recruitment of an energy auditor- Developed plan for retrofit of building shell to reduce energy use and support solar panels- Created 3D map of structure using SketchUp to identify weaknesses of existing structure and propose modifications- Contributed to environmental education curriculum, such as class on biomimicry, to be used in programs bringing Israeli Jewish and Arab high school students together under one roof- Maintained a blog chronicling my experience in Israel: http://kibbutzniklaunch.blogspot.com

- Surveyed potential historic sites in business corridor of San Francisco’s Mission District- Contributed to report for review by SF Planning Commission, including photographs taken on-site
