In my Communications role, I share stories and updates through newsletters, blog posts, podcasts, and social media. I work to make our messaging approachable and informative. I also support the website and external profile to keep us connected and visible in the best possible way.On the Projects side, I focus on Member Engagement and Recruitment, helping.

As Project Manager and Lead, I oversaw the planning and execution of initiatives supporting Fondation Botnar's Youth Cohort (City Shapers). My communications portfolio included newsletters, brand messaging, and public-facing resources, as well as past projects include the Youth Engagement Podcast Series and the Gender Equality Campaign.

I created individualized plans with each student to strengthen existing skills and build their knowledge of the Latin language. This included games, puzzles, and translation work, as well as grammar review.

I worked as a bridge to connect students with organizations in the Twin Cities centered around policy and justice work. Additionally, I co-facilitated the Young Adult Coalition through Macalester and ISAIAH.

Art is a great tool for education. It also is a powerful way to create empathy and understanding, which fuels social change. In my position, I worked through the Civic Engagement Center to make volunteering in the community accessible to Macalester students. I created connections with community partners and worked to inspire social change through art.

As SOC Chair, I managed a committee of six members as we guided students through chartering new orgs, provided assistance to existing orgs undergoing audits, and everything in between.

I focused on Digital Literacy in the Hayden Heights community by making both patron and staff facing resources. I created 'How To' sheets that outlined how to print at the library and how to create an email account. I compiled a Coding Resources Document for staff to utilize in encouraging learners of all ages and experience levels through learning coding.

I fact-checked and edited information for Violence Free Minnesota's 2020 Intimate Partner Homicide Report. To do this, I utilized local media and family blogs, as well the MN courthouse database. Additionally, I attended meetings internal communications team meetings and also meetings with members of the VFM coalition, listening and giving feedback.

As a Spring 2021 Girls Getting Ahead in Leadership Intern and Mentor, I worked with immigrant and refugee girls in 6th-12th grade to create and fulfill academic and personal goals. I also supported the GGAL Coordinator through communication and facilitating meetings.

I worked with a team to expand Blocks4All, a blocks based programming environment that is accessible for students with visual and motor impairments.
