About Kurt Soto

In the many years of analytical research experience, I have always been up to the challenge of diving into new areas while I strive to bring success to projects. As a data scientist, I have been involved in a wide variety of projects that have made me adept at picking up new techniques and developing new perspectives on problems. In industry this skill allowed me to derive new methods to gain insight on voice technology and software while maintaining privacy. This is just one of the many technological solutions that I have contributed to in the development of new products and analytical methods. My solutions are often inspired by my prior work as a physicist which employed a variety of techniques and technologies. To touch upon just a few of these, I have developed predictive tracking algorithms with computer vision techniques, made physical models to understand noisy data, quickly learned how to use bleeding-edge imaging technology on the world's largest telescopes and improve upon established methods.
