I lead teams of fantastic engineers and researchers to find solutions to some of the most difficult Information Security and Fraud/Risk problems that PayPal and our business units face. From time to time, I do some coding myself (mainly PoCs) and find myself on tiger teams helping out with questions around networking and lateral movement.

I performed investigations for network security incidents, developed tools in python, and performed a variety of other information security tasks in this position.

My primary responsibilities were network security, training, tool development, and automation. I trained SOC technicians of various levels to enhance their incident response and network forensic skills. I was an escalation point for the SOC for issues that they need further assistance on. In this position I worked with the co-owner Alex Stockwell in managing the daily functions of ST Connect, such as marketing and strategy development. I assisted in development of Flash based websites and worked with our on site support customers directly.
