ICCL was incorporated in 2007 as a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE Ltd ("BSE"). ICCL carries out the functions of clearing, settlement, collateral management and risk management for various segments of different stock exchanges. ICCL undertakes to act as the central counterparty to all the trades it provides clearing and settlement services for.ICCL is the only clearing corporation in India to have been granted "AAA" rating by two rating agencies, India Ratings Ltd. (Indian arm of Fitch Ratings) and Care Ratings Ltd.

United Stock Exchange was an all India Stock Exchange providing a facility for trading in Currency derivatives. It had intermediaries from all over India.

Aloula Geojit is a joint stock, joint venture between Al Johar Group from Saudi Arabia, Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services Limited from India (BNP Paribas the French banking major is the largest shareholder of Geojit in India, Rasmala Holdings from UAE, National Securities Company from Oman and the Al Bayan group (one of the largest industry groups in Saudi Arabia). Involved in setting up of the Company and subsequently in-charge of the operations of the Company.
