As President of the City Students' Union, I led a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the student experience and advocating for the needs and interests of over 20,000 students at City, University of London. My responsibilities included:Leadership & Strategy: Directed the overall strategy of the Union, ensuring alignment with our mission to support and represent students effectively. Spearheaded initiatives that fostered a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive campus community.Advocacy & Representation: Acted as the primary liaison between the student body and university administration. Championed student rights and interests in high-level university meetings and committees, influencing policy and decision-making.Program Development: Developed and implemented programs and campaigns addressing key student concerns, including mental health support, academic resources, and diversity and inclusion.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborated with university officials, faculty, staff, and external organizations to enhance student services and opportunities.
