Tezted Oy offers TICKPLEX®, a complete diagnostic test for tick-borne diseases (TBDs). TICKPLEX® enables clinical laboratories to test multiple patients for 20 microbes associated with TBDs and three disease stages, simultaneously at a 90% cost reduction for the patient. TICKPLEX® establishes the need to reform clinical practice and healthcare policies for diagnosing TBDs because screening for various microbes would decrease the rate of misdiagnosis or undiagnosed cases and increase the health-related quality of life for the patients. TICKPLEX® is a CE and IVD marked test kit that has been independently validated by clinical laboratories in Finland, Latvia, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. Te?ted Oy is ISO 13485:2016 certified to manufacture TICKPLEX® in Finland. Te?ted Oy is revolutionising the way TBDs are diagnosed at an unprecedented accuracy and significant cost reduction for patients worldwide.

TICK-TAG is an innovative project that aims to establish first of its kind a tick-borne disease pathogen diagnostic kit. We expect that the use of TICK-TAG will contribute to improving the under-reporting of tick-borne disease cases in the Europe, the USA and across the globe prompting therefore health public bodies and politicians to carry out awareness and prevention campaigns to stop the spreading of tick-borne disease pathogens. The project is currently supported by TEKES: Finnish innovation funding agency under its TUTL program.
