From the Clinic to the Community: A Journey of Innovation and ImpactI have found my passion and my calling: working WITH and FOR older adults!I began my career as a physician, dedicated to clinical care, but after three years, I sought more than treating patients one at a time. My passion for enhancing patient safety and quality improvement initiatives led me to health-tech. I completed a program on Digital Health with Honors and started at Trualta as a Product and Operations Coordinator. Wearing multiple hats as the first employee in a dynamic startup, I led the Minimum Viable Product through two major launches and established sustainable processes.I quickly realized that I derive energy and joy from working and connecting with people. While advocating for digital health solutions, I championed a human-first approach. I transitioned to Client Success Manager, managing a portfolio of clients and achieving a 95% retention rate through collaborative consultation and personalized training. My strategic planning skills led to a promotion to Implementation Manager, where I provided onboarding solutions with a lens of long-term success, achieving a 40% increase in client satisfaction.Recognizing my innovative mindset and relationship-building skills, I was appointed as Innovation Manager. I drove product development, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and launched new service line offerings to establish case studies that differentiated Trualta in the market.As a long-distance caregiver, I discovered my true passion: advocating for older adults. To further this, I pursued a Master's degree in Aging and Health, earning the Award of Excellence for outstanding academic performance and my research on virtual caregiver interventions.Beyond my professional roles, I am committed to teaching and community service. As an Adjunct Professor at Algonquin College, I teach Digital Health courses, the very program that shaped my journey. I create an interactive learning environment, empowering students to apply technical concepts to real-world challenges.With clinical experience, health-tech innovation, and a passion for education, I am eager to drive impactful initiatives that improve the lives of older adults and advance digital health.I am seeking my next role where I can effectively apply the lessons learned throughout my career.
