As a Senior Engineer, I was in charge of developing internal data pipelines, tools, and a custom accounting data model to track client staking on validators and liquidity pools on a DeFi protocol processing 10-11 figures USD of swap volume a quarter. I also worked with community stakeholders to develop open-source and public dashboarding to expose key data metrics for the protocol. Key highlights:- Designed and maintained our company’s accounting and analytics data pipelines, DBs, and reports for our primary line-of-business (managing total Web3 assets valued at 8 figures $USD) using Python, GCP, and Postgres/TimescaleDB.- Designed and maintained internal and open-source dashboards on various platforms to provide ecosystem, client, and affiliate services data for DeFi stakeholders using Javascript, Plotly.js, and Snowflake. Highlights from my work include:- Designed and maintained a publicly accessible integration partner DeFi web dashboard that serves transaction-level and aggregate datasets and visualizations driving affiliate fee-based revenue generation, using React, React Remix, Typescript, Chart.js, and Material UI.- Developed a cross-chain analytics tool to compare blocks across various Web3 blockchains, including but not limited to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Doge, using Python, Javascript, React, and ElasticUI.- Developed a liquidity/staking monitor to represent total net earnings in USD across multiple asset pools using Javascript, React, and Chakra UI.

As a Data Engineer on the Instagram Reels & Camera Data Engineering team, I supported product, data science, and engineering needs to understand the impact of community-building within IG Reels.- Developed and maintained a new dynamic query generation framework and version-controlled metrics repository in Hack to enable modular and portable metrics for internal dashboards.- Designed and implemented client and server-side logging and experiment metrics for features developed by the IG Reels Community team in Hack and Python.- Published top-line goals and forecasting dashboards across all IG by working with data science and data engineering managers on metric priorities, definitions and slices for each half.- Designed and prototyped new experiment holdout, competitor-comparison, and root cause analysis dashboards for IG Reels & Camera.

As the first Data Engineer at Flux, I developed core backend services and data engineering infrastructure to drive data science and analytics for understanding employee talent's career interests, skills, and potential.- Built and maintained our main data science and ETL pipelines to recommend professional opportunities to users using JS, Python, Snowflake, and AWS (Lambda, S3).- Built and maintained a data feed pipeline to regularly provide clients with data from our platform using Python, Snowflake, and AWS (Lambda, S3).- Built and maintained a modular, version-controlled, and documented BI/analytics reporting infrastructure using Snowflake, dbt, and Mode.- Built and maintained a career pathways tool to traverse through observed job transitions within an organization to guide future career development in Vue and Node.js.

As a full-stack Software Engineer on the Data Products/Yield Management Team at Vacasa, I collaborated with data scientists and rental portfolio analysts to develop and analyze predictions for dynamic rental rates and reservation settings.- Maintained an internal dashboard to visualize and dynamically set rates for Vacasa units based on machine learning models and human input in Angular, PHP, and Chart.js.- Developed an ETL pipeline to consume third-party real estate market data in Python and AWS S3;- Maintained our ML data science pipelines and non-ML business logic to predict and analyze vacation rental rates based on a variety of features and market conditions in Python and PHP.

As part of my software engineering requirements at the Tech Academy, I worked on a small, ad-hoc software team of about 5-7 people on a proposed job posting website for the software industry. In that role, I've worked on the following front-end and back-end tasks:- Developed an automated web scraper in C# to collect online job postings on company websites, update them to an Azure database server, and output a backup file in JSON;- Redesigned a job board website’s maps of tech companies using Google Maps JavaScript API;- Made miscellaneous updates to the job board website using HTML/CSS and Adobe Photoshop CC;My tech stack for this position included HTML/CSS, Javascript (including Google's Javascript API), C#, Python (primarily for review of legacy code), SQL Server and Azure, and Team Foundation Server.

Following my tenure as Acting Director of Diversity & Inclusion during the search for a new permanent director, I returned to my primary responsibilities as a program coordinator for the D&I Department's portfolio of networking, leadership, professional skills development, and grant and scholarship programs, which included the following responsibilities:- Organized the events for the 2015-2016 Opportunities for Law in Oregon (OLIO) program, including a three-day comprehensive orientation program for incoming law students, a 200+ attendee networking event, an all-day employment retreat for law students, and a graduation ceremony for graduating law students; and- Oversaw the day-to-day responsibilities for the D&I Department’s fellowship, grant, scholarship, and stipend programs, including but not limited to evaluating applications, connecting awardees with potential employers, and reviewing evaluations for our programs.

I temporarily assumed the role and responsibilities of Acting Director of the Oregon State Bar's Diversity & Inclusion Department for approximately 11 months while the department underwent a transition to hire a new permanent Director for this position, following the departure of our last Director. During this time, I successfully:- Directed the use of a $700,000+ budget to operate current scholarship, employment, and skill development programs and develop new programs to recruit and retain diverse professionals for the Oregon legal community;- Consulted for non-diverse professional organizations to identify their challenges, and advise them on how to develop and review strategies to diversify their workforces and memberships; and- Researched and evaluated current trends and developments in diversity and inclusion (D&I) across multiple industries.

As a fourth-year associate attorney at Oregon’s leading law firm specializing in estate and trust litigation, elder financial abuse, and contested protective proceedings (formerly Cartwright Whitman Baer PC), I performed the following responsibilities:- Drafted pleadings, motions, discovery requests, legal memoranda, and briefs at all stages of litigation in probate court;- Appeared on behalf of individual and fiduciary clients at pre-trial hearings, depositions, judicial settlement conferences and mediation; and- Prepared non-judicial trust modification agreements, retroactive trust reports, forensic financial analyses, and similar financial and corporate documents on behalf of trusts and closely-held corporate entities.
