IoT VISION, is an innovative R&D company who develops state of the art solutions that touch the lives of people. The company offers a complete portfolio including software, hardware and services that always aims to make people’s lives easier. The first solution has been developed for deaf and hearing-impaired people and lets them “hear” in their home environment. The portfolio continues to expand with many other smart solutions for different target markets including mums, babies, children, Alzheimer patients and people who have specific health care needs.IoT VISION has the capability to develop the hardware and software with its own engineering team. Managing a budget of over $12 million USD and eight direct reports over a staff of 350+, much of my work dealed with business strategy, building trust with customers and employees, designing the strategic roadmap, and leading collaborative decision making. Some results of these plans include:■ Improving Operating Profit more than 80% in 2.5 years.■ Enhancing operations and service levels more than 30% to a stable 95%+ from 75%.■ Designing and producing Retail Smart Safe, a competitively superior patent-pending product with all local components, that reduces total cost of ownership 60% over five years of product life. ■ Differentiating our company by obtaining a 10-year operating license for the first and only branch to be established in the Free Zone, enabling customers to store valuables and export them to other countries without officially importing them to Turkey.■ Reducing expenses by cutting employee overtime from 40% down to less than 10% of salaries.■ Implementing Lean.

My first year at Brink’s focused on market penetration and sales. I also developed the five-year strategic plan. Results included:■ Selling $4 million USD in Secure Logistics, CashIn Transit, ATM, and Money Processing Services to Turkish Banks, Financial Institutions, and Retailer Chains.

At Schlumberger (later named Schlumberger-Sema, Axalto and now Gemalto), I achieved 100% market share for POS Terminals & SmardCards in Restaurant Coupons/Tickets Market by acquiring all market players as customers.

At KocSistem, I introduced the first large-scale smart card based solutions in Turkey in cooperation with Gemplus.I also sold a multi-million-dollar Paysys VisionPlus Credit Card Management System project to Akbank.

Compulsory Military Service

Earlier at KocSistem, I led the Development and Support Team for the popular, in-house developed product, Bank Credit Card Management Package (installed at five major banks (Ziraat Bank, Koçbank, Osmanlı Bank, Şekerbank & Dışbank).
