Project planning, development and execution involving transition from private operation to community college facility management aligned to SMCCCD goals, assuring alignment to College of San Mateo protocol, guiding transition staff onboarding while elevating the location in membership levels through the continuity of services. Serve in a supporting and advisement role to the Dean of Kinesiology, Athletics & Dance implementing actions and changes supporting the primacy of the students in the Athletic Club, while successfully scheduling around academic needs, yet meeting community requests. Provide ongoing general management/operational support to key team-leaders serving approximately 4000 members including: budgeting, labor expense review, KPI’s, monthly financial and usage reports, membership development and expansion, fitness/Pilates programming, Group Exercise enrichment, Aquatics programming inclusive of Masters Swim Team, Bulldogs Youth Swim Team, Aquatics Lessons and Aquatics classes. Serve as primary project manager to launch Cañada College – Athletic Center and Aquatics program, staffing, supplies, SOP development, staffing to 140+ and with an initial anticipated membership of 3000-6000. Continuing with ancillary marketing material, website development, equipment acquisition and program review. Working multi-directional and collaboratively, in support of SMCCCD leadership inclusive of: Community Relations, Facilities, IT, Accounting, HR, Public Safety, KAD Instructional, and reporting weekly to District Office key stakeholders to assurances of project completion under advisement from the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, College Presidents, Deans, Faculty and Students.
