Welcome to my profile! I am passionate about using research and data-driven solutions to improve public policy. I am a Master of International Affairs student at UC San Diego's School of Global Policy and Strategy, with specializations in International Politics and Latin America. As part of UCSD's BA/MIA program, I am also pursuing my bachelor's degree in International Studies–Political Science and a minor in Economics.Both as a student in the classroom and as a professional in the workforce, I have learned the importance of policy research in our daily lives. While my experiences so far have mostly focused on the qualitative aspects of public policy (writing memos, policy briefs, literature reviews, academic paper summaries, etc.), I am excited to expand on my quantitative skills (Excel, Stata, R, etc.) in my Master's coursework.Outside work and school, I enjoy rooting for my favorite Bay Area sports teams, traveling to new places, browsing HBO's TV catalog, and spending time with friends and family.
