 Lead the development of new plastic injection tooling projects to meet a wide range of product performance and cosmetic requirements;  Give advice to R&D in the product design phase to ensure the product design has a reasonable link with tooling design; Participate/Contribute to mold make ability study based on 2D/3D product construction file and prepare the make ability report to make sure all the action point can be followed up and the mold design has a right/optimized starting point.  Provide engineering support to purchasing dept. to ensure the technical ability of mold maker can correctly assessed. Initiate and develop new resin and build-up reliable & stable molding process in order to ensure new project’s going smoothly and production in time with high quality.  Continuously improve molding process to decrease cost of mass production through professional support on molding area. Speed up molding automation to make production more effective.  Technical support for supplier sourcing and raw material localization to optimize supplier chain.

 Be responsible for the overall management of Mold Design & Manufacturing department, Focus on medical mold manufacturing and molding. Responsible for Standardized Work & Auditing & Reviews Training & Versatility in tooling process. Supervise, Direct and Support the tool makers to do the daily job including: new molds acceptance check and new mold trial run and qualification, maintenance, and repairing. Ensure production running smoothly by timely tool maintenance and repair, and coordinate work force for fixture and fig making.  Provide technical support to mold supplier to ensure the outsourced mold will be designed, made and delivered as per the requirements and mold specification in a timely manner. Maintain Mold Quality & maintenance System & WI implemented states and Visual Standards Regular in tooling area.  Responsible for Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement & Communication & Training & Coaching capacities in tooling area. Suggest CIs and Kaizens in tooling area at least quarterly. Review and update Kaizen Events and CI Projects progress.  Supportive & Inspiring & Coaching them, Document Control Review & Gage Calibration. Responsible for tooling area 5s & TPM, , Manage tool room's safety ,records, 5S and spare parts and equipment's PM in practice are implemented

 Perform the mechanical case analysis independently and provide the solution.  Design and utilize the products structure and assembly.  Support QA for production qualification and customer key complain activities. Work with vendor for raw material specification.  Debug and solve product problems in tooling for production line.  Maintenance of product document as ME role. Attend design engineering review activities.

 Initial concept for the new mold layout and release structure. DFM study and give solution for optimizing design.  Control and monitor 3D mold designers to finish whole design on schedule. Mold designer duties; manage a staff of 5 people. Be responsible for Compiling ENG mold design standard.
