I am a hands-on, quality-driven, and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer. I have experience in Manufacturing and Industrial Automation and I am a Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT).My main areas of expertise are in machine maintenance, repair and overhaul, and development of special jigs, fixtures and machines to solve interesting and unique manufacturing problems. I am particularly interested in industrial automation and controls, and have experience updating and retrofitting CNC machine tools, specifying and installing stepper, servo and AC drives, and sourcing custom parts from overseas.As owner of KCJ Engineering I enjoy working with clients to determine their needs and come up with a timely and cost effective solution - whether it is as simple as a small part that needs repair or modification, or as complicated as a custom jig/fixture or complete CNC machine with custom control software.
