We contract with financial partners to provide the infrastructure and products needed so our customers can outsource their student loan processing/program to Sallie Mae. I currently manage our sales efforts and in the past managed the relationship management and contract services staffs at Sallie Mae. These teams are tasked with establishing and maintaining business relationships with new lender customers. We have established 1800+ new customer relationships in the past 48 months.My team and I are responsible for prospecting new clients, negotiating and executing complex contracts with lender partners, supporting our clients compliance needs, and developing extensive marketing plans that enable our lender partners to grow their private student loan volume.Prior to Sallie Mae changing its focus from federal student loans to private student loans I was directly responsible for the purchase of more than $15,000,000,000 a year in government guaranteed loans from lenders like Bank of America, 5/3, Regions and RBS Citizens. My role was to acquire student loan assets, negotiate complex contract terms, execute agreements and facilitate the transaction to close.
