A Human Resources professional/leader with 13 years of experience in the Navy with recruiting, hiring, interviewing, mentoring, coaching, benefits and compensation, program management, and training. Experience includes HRIS (PeopleSoft and various employee tracking systems), HR analytics, process improvement, safety and security, policy creation and implementation, community relations, and leadership development. I have been recognized with several awards during my career.Until recently, I led 13 career advisors at Navy Recruiting Command Region West as the Human Resources Coordinator (military) supporting 3500 employees with their career development and employee relations; empowering employees to be their best through HR resources. Team members know me as an extremely engaged and dedicated who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach, ideas, and resources. I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the best way forward for the company and its employees with providing rewarding accomplishments of customer service.I have a BS in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland University College along with Department of Labor apprenticeships for Office Manager/Administrative Services, Counselor, and Computer Operator.
