While at the San Diego Padres, I handled all aspects of event execution ranging from 300 person events to 15,000+ guests. I conducted site visits with potential clients, handled all details within a contract, contacted and booked numerous vendors, worked directly with catering, as well as handled day of event duties. In my time with the team, I held four titles within two different departments. I learned to effectively collaborate with numerous departments including Group Sales, Engineering, Security, Event Crew, Operations, Catering, as well with upper management. I took on the role of maintaining the entire department's budget, including all invoicing and credit card reconciliation. I was a part of the Padres organization for six seasons, and had successfully worked and grown in different departments within.With Oakview Group, we opened the new Snapdragon Stadium. I managed all special event sales, including developing and managing all key accounts, new business, and ongoing customer relationships. I served as a direct point of contact for clients, vendors, and participants concerning meeting specifications, requirements, preferences, confirmations, cancellations, schedules, cost summaries, and RFP's.
