As an undergraduate, I am used to spending long nights working on finalizing assignments. I have a tendency to work until the last minute to ensure efficient completion of my tasks. As a result, I often find that I do my best work under pressure within the deadlines given to me. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from UNCG because of this, and due to my hard work, determination, professionalism, and compassion for the work I do. One short-term goal I have is to reapply to UNCG's Grad School in order obtain a Master's Degree in Library Information and Science. My dream career is to be an Academic or Public Librarian.As a student, one fraternity I was inducted into is the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. The fraternity values scholarship, leadership, and fellowship. I was recommended based on my academic standing at UNCG. It is one of my long-term goals to continue to nurture these beliefs through the very function they serve; scholarship, leadership, and fellowship. I graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.81 because I always did my best to improve myself and my grades by taking on a manageable course load that I know I can handle to effectively maximize the best outcome! I am very committed when it comes to getting a job done properly.I am currently a Front Desk Receptionist for Hopkins Road Animal Hospital. I am able to put what I learned from my degree in Communication Studies into good practice at my job. I love my job very much.
