The Summer Student, ServiceDesk and Desktop Ops Support works in a fast paced IT environment, learning new technologies, as well as developing/improving their IT support skills. A primary focus of providing assistance to end-users in the daily use of company-provided computers, phones and peripheral equipment, to ensure attainment of high levels of productivity. This role also assists the IT Ops team to deploy new computers and phones to staff, and help to maintain the IT Asset databases, while placing a strong focus on network and information security. Significant time dedicated to updating old computer hardware, and using IT tools to replace old devices with minimum downtime to end-users.
