From role to role, I have always taken what I have learnt to my new role and used this to my advantage. The biggest change was starting as a Prison officer for HMPPS, the role was challenging, high demanding, high pressure and unforgiving. After a period of 3 months and successfully completing training for my role, I began to flourish, learning all the processes and policies I required to be successful, carry my role out on a day to day, whilst being able to adapt to any situation that fell before myself from simple enquirys for balance checks to violence, drug abuse and physical escalations with a calm and professional manner at all times. During my time I was multi-talented and able to work in many areas comfortably and understand each role in order to carry out my role, being also capable of training other officers including senior officers in these positions when further assistance due to low staffing numbers were faced.Working in the Ford customer relationship centre, my role is unique and being able to adapt to every call, every email, every complaint from customers and not just seeing them as another customer but being able to put myself in the customers position and being able to understand the needs of each and every individual handling each customer and case with the utmost importance and building strong rapports and relationships for each one, making them feel that I am right there through every step of their the case from the very 1st call to having the vehicle back with themselves. Because of this I have gained attention from fellow colleagues and management that strongly believe in my ability to be highly successful in my role and further assisting within the company as a whole. In senior positions that I have held and roles where deadlines are of key importance, I always plan ahead to understand the role and task ahead of myself so that I can ensure the best plan of action to carry the work out in the most efficient manner. Alll work is correctly recorded so that I am aware of what was carried out, and when it was carried out. Because of this, understanding report issues/work that is required and what items or assistance will be needed to improve the final outcome whilst further learning what has worked best to ensure high quality work is always carried out on time.
