As the Clinic Director of WSHC Seattle I am working to build a new healthcare system focused on bringing life to healthcare. By integrating the ancient wisdom of traditional medicine systems with the new discoveries of modern day science we can gain a greater understanding of each unique person in order to create individualized treatment strategies.In my medical practice I focus on treating the entire person, not simply managing symptoms. I especially orient towards Heart Shock, the Chinese Medicine term for the long-term and systemic effects of trauma. Commonly people can experience symptoms such as insomnia, mood swings, anxiety, depression, worry, or more intense mental health issues like bi-polar; it is also common to experience physical issues around pain, arthritis, digestion, headaches, allergies, and more. I have confidence in the healing power of nature and believe people have an innate ability to move towards health. I see my role as helping to guide people along this journey, and to this end I primarily use gentle, minimally invasive techniques to stimulate the body’s self-healing potential. Utilizing diet, lifestyle changes, herbal medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, and more, I am committed to serving my patients in the creation of long-lasting wellbeing.
