Hello, my name is Kyla. I have a degree in Media Communications and Journalism; an aspiring advertiser. Along with advertising, I have also obtained an interest in digital media. Any opportunities or suggestions are happily welcomed through LinkedIn or email.Along with more than half of the world, I find myself engulfed in the whirlwind of technology. In such a fast-paced society I found myself interested in not only trends but the analytics behind them, and not only campaigns but the ideas that went into them. With my interest, came my passion. I am studying advertising to get a better insight into what works, what doesn't, and why. The foundation of my learning has come from a variety of college courses including Advertising Procedures, Advertising Sales, Media Ethics, and Publication Design. I was also an account executive at the Collegian at Fresno State where I practiced using creative skills and assuring that clients are satisfied.I have also obtained leadership and management skills while working for California Teaching Fellows. While working with over 90 elementary school students, I have improved our afterschool program by developing and facilitating new teaching techniques to meet my students' and parents' needs. While doing so, I have been able to create a safe environment and strong relationships.With my past courses and careers, I have developed good communication, organization, leadership, and creative skills, all of which I believe would be great attributes to any company.
