I am very passionate about programming games and understanding how games in the industry work. I love to delve into the deep the underlining's of games and to figure out the programming techniques they hold within. I am hardworking and love to overcome challenges whether it be programming or just everyday life. I work well with a team and see my self as a leader who can keep my team on point if need be. The art and animation assets used are not my own but all code and blueprints are made by me. This project was my first deep dive into the Unreal Engine, I have dabbled with Unreal before but never made a big project with it. The goal of this project was to learn as much about the Unreal framework as possible using both C++ and blueprints. The main topics I learned Character controllers, AI using blackboards and behavior trees, Animation instances/blueprints, Data tables, Game modes, materials/sounds/particles, and lastly UI using Widget blueprints. Ahead Student LeaderChamplain College Aug 2018 - Aug 2021Burlington, Vermont AreaI was an AHEAD Student Leader, my job was to help facilitate the AHEAD program, which is a pre-orientation program for incoming students with special scholarships and students of color. I and another student leader was assigned a group of incoming students to look after and answer any questions or concerns they might have. This job was a great experience since beforehand I had never been in a leadership role. It helped me develop leadership skills as well as communication skills. -
