• Maintaining laboratory and lab equipment in working order.• Performing field work (e.g., pre-job briefs, sample collection and preservation, and wellhead measurements);• Preparing and analyzing samples (e.g. instrument calibrations, laboratory and van prep, well data loggers, Operational Control Monitoring (OCM) gamma analysis, counting samples) and loading results into Labworks.• Updating EMB procedures and Radiological Work Permit (RWP).• Reviewing work plans, sampling proposals, scope of work etc..• Following Integrated Work Control (IWC) process for work execution e.g. completion of fire screening request for drill operations;• Receiving and reviewing groundwater results from external organizations• Participating in the planning of sampling, drilling work and establishment of new boreholes and wells and providing direction on EDMS groundwater borehole and wells• Participating in inter-laboratory performance studies (e.g., MRads - Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Tritium for groundwater, Gamma for soil).• Attending meetings for drilling support and completing walk downs as necessary; and• Interacting with Environmental Protection and other customers on groundwater and wells as they relate to environmental monitoring.
