I'm Kyle Benedict and am currently an investment research analyst at Trog Hawley Capital. I passed the CFA Level 1 exam in August 2024 and plan on taking Level II May 2025. I completed my Master of Science in Finance at Florida State University, after earning my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Investments Finance from Stetson University with a 3.92 GPA.During my time at Stetson, I was part of the Roland George Investment Program, where I worked as lead equity research analyst for the utilities sector in a portfolio of $5.5 million in stocks and bonds. From Aug. 2021 - Aug. 2022, the utilities sector outperformed our benchmark with a robust 21% growth during that time period. During my Senior year at Stetson University, I performed in the annual Quinnipiac GAME Forum where our growth portfolio placed 3rd out of 80 schools based off of risk adjusted return and strategy. I also had the opportunity to intern at Regions Bank, completing an asset management internship. During my internship, I completed industry research reports and shadowed portfolio managers. I also completed equity, bond, and ETF reports for the asset management team.
