From the age of 16, I left school with all GCSEs C or above. I enrolled into college for a level 3 BTEC Public Service Diploma. When the course was completed, I worked for one of the biggest wholesalers in the UK, Bookers Cash and Carry. I worked in several different branches over a 12-year period and worked my way up the ranks to a manager. I was a stock controller, replenishment supervisor, a sales rep, and delivery supervisor/manager. Whilst having a full-time job, I was also a Bar Manager in 3 public houses and applied to get my Personal License. I have 2 NVQ Level 3 in Leadership and Hospitality. In 2017, I joined The Royal Navy as a Hydrographic, Meteorological Oceanographical specialist in Warfare (HM). I successfully completed 10 hard weeks of basic training, as well as 3 months of branch specific training. I was then enrolled onto a survey ship and travelled the globe doing my core job as a Surveyor. In this time, my skills have grown in loyalty, communication, commitment, courage, discipline, respect for others, integrity along with many others. I have currently done the things I wanted to achieve in the Royal Navy and leave on July 9th 2021. I am currently looking for a new challenge that I can thrive in and still get home to my loving family in Lancashire.
