Currento Review and analyze incoming shop work orders to identify materials, crafts required, priorities and other requirements to determine best choice of outsourced contractor. o Obtain and evaluate blueprints and other documentation relating to shop work orders, suggest modifications and request clarifications to provide complete, understandable and correct information and scope for maintenance projects. o Manage Designated Representatives overseeing outsourced work to ensure all are acting in 3M’s best interests and complying with policies, procedures and contracts.o Ensure Designated Representatives and Contractor Representatives inspect the work site to identify problems, safety issues, tool and material needs, permitting requirements, or need for special instructions to provide for effective craft time on the job.o Review shop work order requirements with Plant Engineering Supervision and affected Business Partners to determine appropriate timing, assure availability of people and equipment, and get preliminary approval of scheduling considerations. o Enter, plan, up-date, schedule and close shop work orders and purchase orders in the computerized maintenance management system (SAP), and other systems for accurate accounting and record keeping. o Keep track of scope and other field change requests for business partners and for accountability. o Monitor work orders and locations for work activity; monitor for safe, timely, and accurate completion.
