Kyle is a Director with Opportune LLP’s Upstream Transactional Advisory group. Kyle has over 15 years experience in the upstream sector, specializing in business analytics and process improvement. He has a deep understanding and thorough background in small- and large-scale ERP implementations, asset acquisition and divestiture transactions as well as transactional due diligence. Kyle has managed transactional asset acquisitions and divestitures for multiple upstream clients. These acquisitions ranged from large upstream clients assuming operatorship over a variety of plays to smaller strictly non-operated interest purchases. This included all upstream back office, transition services, client data conversion and best practice analysis.Kyle has been frequently engaged to provide best practice analysis for clients involving division order analysis for Joint Operated and Take-In-Kind scenarios. This involves analysis of marketing and bearing groups, unique gas balancing and payout scenarios, and downstream effects to distribution.Kyle oversaw gas marketing and allocation analysis projects involving volumetric, pricing and revenue mapping. This included documentation of physical flow from a wellhead level to pipeline interconnects, deal analysis relative to company WASP per sales point/location and revenue optimization based on common deductions associated with pipelines.Kyle has participated in multiple implementations of upstream software suites (Quorum, P2, and Enertia) for small to mid sized E&P companies. This included business process mapping, data conversion, end user training and company specific user guide documentation.Kyle has conducted deep dive revenue due diligence analysis for both a purchase and sale of assets. This included revenue, gas marketing contract analysis, and severance tax reporting.
