I am currently a student at Cleveland state university, completing my senior year and majoring in psychology, with a minor in communication. I am a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School as well (08-12).along with being a full time student, I also work full time as an WSI (water safety instructor), which entails me giving swim lessons to children and as a lifeguard in the city of beachwood, during the fall/ winter season. I've been in this line of work for 5 1/2 years. Recently I acquired a new position, one that doesn't regard working at a pool, but instead I will be a senior counselor and activity coordinator at a summer sleepaway camp in Bowerston, OH called Camp Firebird Roosevelt. I hope this will be the gateway to a line of many different opportunities to broaden my horizons to work in different fields and have different experiences.In regard to my work ethic, I'm punctual, a team player, multi-tasker, goal oriented, time manager, work oriented and have a positive attitude/mindset going into anything that I put my mind to.Overall, I strive to be a mental health counselor for the general public, working with teens and adults who have mental issues and I hope to help them work through their circumstances and return to a state of "normalcy" or at least a sense of it.
