Managed first and second level support for more than 7,000 clients, requiring ~ 68,000 daily jobs ingesting 200TB. Responsible for technology roadmap development, technology refreshes, internal security and SOX audit compliance, vendor management, contract negotiations, expense and capital budget considerations..• Facilitated the modernization of the data protection environments through the introduction of standard policies and procedures, consolidation of tools and software, implementation of Data Domain and the complete elimination of physical tape. The decommissioning of the tape infrastructure and resulting efficiencies resulted in annual cost savings of $3.5M.• Directed the refresh of 22 network switches in 3 Data Centers. This $8.2 million, 11-month project included coordinating over 150 individuals from 15 work groups in 3 companies implementing 85 separate change events involving over 8500 servers and requiring 19,927 separate cable runs. Project successfully completed on time without impact to mission critical systems availability.
