Maintained management of a global tourism client’s account, developing greater knowledge in doing deep-dive optimization methods, utilizing bid multipliers and automated bidding methods.Eventually began working on an electronics retail client, where I gained experience using other DSPs such as The Trade Desk and Brightroll/Oath DSP, as well as working on video-format campaigns, including TrueView In-stream and bumper campaigns on the DV360 platform.In this period, I gained further responsibilities by engaging in strategy planning meetings and brief responses with the client-facing teams. Furthermore, I began liaising more frequently with multiple tech partners, publishers and audience providers to discuss potential opportunities to utilize their offerings, as and when appropriate.

Introduced to key programmatic concepts, DSPs (primarily DV360), third-party verification platforms (mainly IAS), and the digital marketing industry as a whole.Mainly worked on display-based branding and DR activity for a hospitality and tourism client, as well as for an FMCG retail client. For the former client especially, I had the opportunity to work on campaigns on a global scale such as for North American, European and APAC countries. Through these clients, I developed my skills of campaign setup, monitoring, optimizing accordingly to achieve the primary KPIs, and post-campaign analysis reporting. Frequent meetings with client-facing teams, discussing ongoing campaign performance and possible opportunities to grow and expand activity. Moreover, I participated in the agency’s weekly Digital Newsletter in order to report on the current goings on in the digital marketing industry, including a programmatic perspective.

The role consists of administrative and manual labour duties all related to facilitating the process of cash transactions between banking societies and their customers. The administrative role entailed imputing data on a work-appropriate software package whereas the manual labour required operating machinery. While my duties shift intermittently throughout, the need to work well in a team-based environment is essential throughout.

During last year’s summer period when I was completing the dissertation project for my MSc degree, I provided part-time tutoring sessions for people in the fields of economics and econometrics at a secondary to higher education level. Through doing this, I was able to learn methods to teach economic concepts on a one-to-one basis and retain foundation knowledge on the subject.
