· Assist in planning and performing integrated and non-integrated financial statement audits for public and private companies across a diverse set of industries, including manufacturing, bio-pharmaceutical research and development and real estate with revenues and assets exceeding $7 billion · Engagement team lead for implementation of Firm tools and best practices · Supervisory role for internal control design assessments, testing, facilitation of engagement completion audit procedures on multiple engagements within the same time; significant experience as primary reviewer of documentation · Significant experience in research for GAAP-related client-specific issues including FASBs, EITFs, SoPs, TPAs, ARM, etc., resulting in the decision-making for applicability to the client's situation and provision of guidance to the client and further evaluation of client accounting policies · Preparation of financial statements and experience drafting footnotes to the financial statements. · Completion of more complex audit sections including stock options, inventory, investment valuation, accruals, and revenue recognition, as well as the engagement planning and completion database sections · Responsible for the facilitation of client mobilization and closing meetings · Serve as a peer mentor for staff at multiple levels (interns, first year and experienced associates) · Serve as an instructor for the Knowledge Management market initiative roundtable training sessions. · Management of interoffice communications and meetings
