Senior Manager, Analytics

Current

San Francisco Bay Area

I lead two analytics teams at Strava- Marketing and Foundations. As a partner to the Marketing organization, I've directed and supported the team responsible for forecasting and measuring impact for some of Strava's largest consumer-facing moments, including our partnership with the Tour de France, Strava's annual Year in Sport press report, flagship product go-to-market campaigns, and rebuilding data pipelines to serve paid acquisition, brand, social, & press initiatives. The Foundations Analytics team serves to partner closely with data consumers and cross-functional leads across Strava to work to scale analytical work across the company. The team I lead owns and progresses a roadmap for expanding tooling for product & CRM experimentation, delivering an in-house Last Touch Attribution model for new accounts, developing an ML-powered new user LTV model, and developing data frameworks to improve the ergonomics and scalability of our business metrics and user segmentation.

Lead Product Analyst

As an IC Product Analyst, I supported a cross-functional product team in the development of Strava's flagship routing and mapping features. I also developed a data framework to abstract in-app event tracking into standardized metrics for feature adoption, usage, and retention which serve as Strava's core metrics for Product Analytics and understanding product-market fit. I also authored econometric studies that linked specific Strava feature usage signals to free trial conversion and direct subscription, and helped to standardize the process of the design, execution, and documentation of product experiments across the company.

Product Data Analyst - Growth & Engagement

San Mateo, California

I was Tile's first Product & Engineering Analytics hire. As the team grew, I focused primarily on goals and projects related to Growth & Engagement. My key responsibilities included identifying opportunities for new potential features for our mobile apps, shaping our product road map, defining core metrics and evaluating the performance of features against those metrics. I work directly with engineering teams and PMs to evaluate and launch features through our beta process into production, and present regularly to the product and engineering executives on the impact of those features.I also developed most of the core analytics data infrastructure at Tile, leveraging PySpark, Airflow, and Hive. The core growth accounting and user retention pipelines were built using a star schema architecture to ensure flexible and scalable downstream dataset development. I've also served as a primary mentor for interns on the PA team, consulting on projects related to the Tile community's effectiveness, new feature launches, and internal analytical tools.
