In this position, I am running the process of the Student employee payroll as well as the Bi-Weekly Civil Service and Semi-monthly payroll when needed. More duties of this position include, data entry for employed student workers and bi-weekly civil service employees such as retroactive account adjustments, time entry, electronic direct deposit authorizations, and tax withholding certificates. Also, I process all payroll garnishments and child support orders for all employees for SIU Carbondale and SIU School of Medicine in Springfield, IL.

Position is in the Employee Benefits Department of Human Resources at SIU. Job duties include: processing all new hires of the university, and working with all available benefits of current and retired employees.

Supervised all daily activities of the front desk at the Dental Hygiene Clinic at SIU. Was in charge of all monetary spreadsheets, making deposits, and ordering all supplies for the program. Was offered a better job opportunity at SIU, and couldn't refuse the offer.

Administered all workman's compensation and disability benefits to all employees. Position was not permanent, it was only to fill a maternity leave.

Performed many daily tasks to keep entire Benefits Office running smoothly and efficiently. Reported directly to Deputy Director and Director of Human Resources. Was hired directly upon completion of my internship at Marshall Browning Hospital.

Completed 300 hour internship as required for my Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management.I worked very closely with the hospital administration and completed many projects for the hospital that they are still continuing to use.
