After graduating from Waikato University with a business management degree, I spent seven years working in the banking and financial sector. I started my journey with Donovan Group in 2005, where I began leading operations and finance.Together with my business partner and brother Brett, we have grown the company into a world-leading technology and advanced manufacturing business that is revolutionising construction processes and products.In my time at Donovan Group, I was responsible for continuing our journey with advanced manufacturing and developing the businesses engineering and software innovations into workable commercial entities in order to drive business growth. In 2008, I co-founded the first distribution network for Donovan Group’s building innovations, Coresteel Buildings, which has now expanded to three brands and over 50 franchises. In 2010, I jointly led Donovan Group’s expansion into software innovation with the goal of helping our franchisees design and price buildings more easily. This led to the creation of utecture, a pre-construction technology tool that works to design, visualise, quantify and price new builds and renovations. Today, I am now the CEO of utecture. I am also director of Donovan Group and our subsidiary companies Coresteel Buildings, Modnframe , KiwiSpan, Design Station and Modern Building Products.
