STRUCTURAL REFORM PROGRAMME• Executed effective change management initiatives, resulting in the successful transition of Finance teams to the new Group operating model.• Supported definition and implementation of ServCo (Service Company) financial strategy in line with regulatory and business requirements.•Designed and embedded the ‘Service Catalogue’ to provide granular detail of the Operations and Technology cost base (c.£4bn) as well as cost drivers. RISK & FINANCE CHANGE• Spearheaded new business case governance processes that enabled standardised finance reporting for the Risk ExCo and supported decision making.• Delivered improved forecasting granularity for the Group Risk COO, whilst significantly shortening reporting lead-times.• Conducted cost tracking across the Risk and Finance Change portfolio, reviewed project delivery performance and challenged programme forecasts in order to enforce accountability.• Led the implementation of the Finance Target Operating Model across Risk and Finance Change, managing business change activities.GROUP OPERATIONS FINANCE• Successfully designed and implemented a new operating model for Group Operations Finance, embedding new practices into BAU with minimal disruption.• Implemented a new workforce tracking tool which provided assurance of external reporting of headcount, with outputs presented to Group CEO.• Led functional submission of the annual plan, quarterly forecasts and the 3-5-year strategic plan for Group Operations cost base.
