As an IT Support Specialist at Clare Holdings, my responsibilities covered a wide range of duties that included project management, IT software and hardware support, IT software and hardware implementation, process improvement, network management, and help desk troubleshooting for users at all levels of the organization. My position allowed me to leverage my experience in supply chain positions of operations, purchasing, and distribution to add value to all subsidiaries of Clare Holdings, both domestic and international. My growth as an IT Professional closely aligned with my mission of constant improvement through planning, goal setting, evaluation, and delivery.

At Euclid Beverage I worked as part of the operations team responsible for ensuring timely delivery of the product. As Quality Control Manager, I was responsible for monitoring the integrity and accuracy of the inbound, in-house, and outbound product. I was involved in many process improvements including strengthening our repack process, organizing the submission of claims, and improving the inventory counting process. I also helped solve issues with the outbound process. Additionally, I serves as the backup router, covering 2 positions responsible for the routing, loading, and organizing of 50 delivery routes.

My experience at Standard Beverage laid the ground work for my knowledge of the Liquor and Spirits Distribution industry. After working for 3 months as an Intern in the Purchasing Department, I was hired full-time as a Purchasing Agent. Working while finishing my Master’s Course Work gave me the opportunity to apply what I was learning in real time. Using this knowledge and skills, I successfully maintained forecasts, sales projections, stock levels, and improved inventory turns for 580 SKUs of Craft and Import Beer and 2080 SKUs of Specialty and Import Wines. This was accomplished through the creation of Purchase Orders, filing of claims, expedition of orders, and maintenance of product data.

Working as the Volunteer Assistant Coach was an excellent way to gain valuable experience while working towards a professional career. During my time with Kansas Athletics I managed both recruiting data and correspondence to assist the coaches in the recruitment of prospects. I also worked closely with the Head and Associate Head Coaches with daily team operations, practice and game planning, and in game decision making. Independently I worked on camp planning and organizing, team travel arrangements and scheduling, and NCAA compliance issues.
