As Head of IT, I was ultimately responsible for driving technological business innovation and use for all staff members and departments across iZettle globally.This meant achieving our IT vision of “Enabling users to be functionally aware in a highly efficient, cost effective and secure manner.” I provided strategic, inspiring, reliable and cost effective business solutions which were cutting-edge yet easy to use in our work environments. This was key to iZettle’s productivity and success.I oversaw all aspects of technological operations as related to business functionality. However, iZettle Product and Development, as well as Back-end functionality and Customer Data handling was the responsibility of iZettle’s CTO.I have devised, established and evangelized proper IT governance, policies, processes and systems to support the implementation of business strategies set together with iZettle management.Additionally, I analyzed versatile business requirements and acted as a liaison to all departments heads within iZettle to enable their technological needs.I am very proud to have built the IT department at iZettle from the ground up.
