I was recruited for the start-up of the machining department including equipment acquisition, set-up, tooling, documentation, recruiting, quoting and quality.  -Successfully converted a group of used, worn out, equipment into a fully functional machine shop with the ability to produce very accurate product to meet aggressive schedules. -Quoted and managed $100,000 in business the first month of start-up.

A private contract company, performing duties such as tooling and programming of machined parts, as well as, setting up Design practices for Manufacturability. I became self-employed to move closer to family for caregiving responsibilities. -Utilized my abilities in Man, Machine and Method studies to create the most efficient line layout and balance on multiple production lines. -Repaired, tooled, and programmed the CNC Equipment at Lane Bank Equipment to more efficiently produce all safe and Deposit box parts. -Redesigned the Safety Deposit Boxes and created the original drawings for all new Safe designs. -Also purchased and managed a small Tavern & Grill as a family operated business.

I was responsible for methods and standards, routings, tool design and manufacture. Also, programming, plant layout, and capital acquisitions. I reduced total tooling cost by $130,000 annually.
