In this position, I was part of a small team that supported a multi-site, international company of 200+ employees.As a System Engineer, I had the following responsibilities:Managing the on-premises HPe servers, Cisco switches, F5 firewalls, and SonicWall VPN appliances.The creation and management of virtual Windows and Linux systems within vSphere and later AWS, including domain controllers, file shares, and prod/non-prod application servers.Configuring and maintaining the ManageEngine Windows server patching software to ensure a positive security forward posture.Helped maintain the Windows Active Directory, group policy, and security programs when we had on-premises systems, then later when we converted to AWS, I used Azure/Entra for these processes.Helped maintain the Microsoft O365 Admin Center and Exchange, creating accounts and setting up all types of mailboxes, distribution groups, and contacts.Helped manage the telephone systems when they were on-premises using Cisco CUX with physical IP phones and later managing the RingCentral phone system using virtual phones and setting up accounts and call centers.Participated in weekly change control meetings for infrastructure changes using ITL standards.Started learning how to integrate and use both the AWS AI Bedrock and the Microsoft AI Co-Pilot.

In this position, I was the sole support person for a site of 100+ employees.As a Technical Support Specialist II, I had the following responsibilities:Provided customer service and technical support for all Windows and Mac hardware/software for the in office and remote employees.Created and maintained hardware standards.Implemented server-side JAMF for all of our Mac devices, to maintain security and patching standards.Executed any physical changes to the onsite network closet.Worked closely with the prototype team on their proprietary software and systems.Supported several high-end printing and color synthesizing machines and their unique processes.
