Being a pilot myself, one of the highlights of our relationship was when Kyle offered to take me on a “hands-on” aerobatic flight in his dad’s WWII Warbird trainer, a North American T6 SNJ. Though I don’t recall whether that was before or after we hired him... In addition to the genuine enthusiasm Kyle always showed, he displayed and maintained a high degree of professionalism. Whether presenting to a young learn-to-fly prospect, a business owner wanting to fly for fast, efficient transportation, or a career-minded applicant, Kyle explained how our flight training courses could be tailored to most effectively meet their needs and goals; as a result he was highly successful in bringing in new students. Once they were on board, Kyle kept a keen interest in ensuring the students’ progress and satisfaction. He truly took ownership of the students and their programs, communicating frequently and staying positive. About a year after we hired Kyle I accepted a national position with American Flyers and was happy and confident to recommend and hand over responsibility for the school to Kyle. "
