I am a PhD-trained mathematical physicist with extensive experience in applying advanced mathematical and computational techniques to solve real-world challenges. Throughout my academic and professional career I have consistently sought out opportunities to apply mathematics to tackle diverse challenges; including economic analysis, analysing milk quality, forecasting environmental impacts of proposed mines, modelling wave propagation in ultra-cold atom collections, and exploring symmetries in string theory. Currently, I contribute to shaping New Zealand's electricity grid as a Grid Investment Advisor at Transpower, where I develop and automate economic models that support critical decision-making.With a deep passion for understanding complex systems and a curiosity that drives me to explore the "how" and "why" behind phenomena, I have consistently pushed the boundaries of traditional problem-solving.
